redhat flavoured systems will install two sets of files in /etc/X11/
which are XF86Config and XF86Config-4, last time i had to downgrade, i
rpm'ed -e XF*, wiped out all XF86* files in /etc/X11 and install 3.3.6
binaries or sources from xfree86.org
