Hi, I have a query RE rpm (RH6.1)
if do
rpm -q foopackge.rpm
I get package.rpm is not installed
if i do
rpm -vhi foopackge.rpm
I get :
foopackage ######################################
then :
rpm -q foopackge.rpm
I get package.rpm is not installed.
If I then try :
rpm -vhi foopackge.rpm
I get package already installed..
I tried rpm --rebuilddb but it didn't make a difference.
Anyone know whats going on?
