[ILUG] [OT] oracle question

We're getting an error:

unable to extend table xyz.234 in tablespace foo;

now the little i know about oracle doesn't show anything wrong, eg

 select tablespace_name, sum(bytes)/1024/1024 from sys.dba_free_space
group by tablespace_name ;

shows me 114MB left free for tablespace foo.

any ideas?
