That's probably _bad_ people out there scanning for visible windows shares.
Try something like

nbtstat -A your.internet.ip.address

from a windows box - it will produce the same result.

On a related note, I have seen a marked increase in the number of times we
are actually scanned in the last month or 6 weeks - it used to be maybe once
per day, now it's 5+ times a day (sometimes far more).

Regarding the broadcast packets/ospf: it's still the same story. Tried
dialling into a different isp and this didn't have the same problem, so it
seems to be indigo related.
I plan on talking to their tech support about it later today - spare time
allowing.
