Hi.
As above. I dial in from home to my Linux box at work using ppp.
Does this not create a problem in that my box at home is assigned a
"random" ip address when it connects to the ISP & so I cannot associate
public key for home machine with a specific ip address?
I managed to do this a year ago but cannot remember how.
When I try to run
ssh my.work.machine
from home
I get disconnected "session closed by remote host" or some such.
I have sshd2 running at work but am (as above) unclear how to associate
home machine with public key for home machine (stored on work machine). Or
have I got it back to front?
Any tips?
Thanks
PS I am running old version of ssh at home (not ssh2). Could this be the
problem?
