I don't see ant "ATA" section, however, in the "Block Device" section,
there's an "ALI M14xx support" option but the help for this lists

ALI M1439/1443/1445/1487/1489 chipsets

While what I have here is an M5229 or is it the M1541 that's relevant
here? There's mention of ALI M1541 support in the "Character devices"
section but that appears to be for AGP stuff. Of course, that's all for
the 2.2.16 kernel. Must try out a 2.4 kernel and see what happens there.
