I can say that a number of the people on the Eircom ADSL group
as very much UNIX people Free BSD being the flavour of choice.
As for public support this is something that always gets mudgeded
by all the wrong people.

I do _NOT_ work directly in the ADSL group I just know some of the
people involved.
