I'm afraid we can't let you do that, dave. ;)

on a similar note though, Iw as trawling through the archives a while back
trying to glean more information on the whole LILO: prompt thing and what
the letters mean in the boot sequence and couldn't find it. Any chance
someone knowledgeable could throw together a little tutorial about LILO
and how to recover from the dreaded LI ?

The box in question was my mother in law's win 98 box that I stuck our HD
in as a temporary home until we get our own place and our own machine. I'm
uning Winux at the moment and it's not half bad as a graphical extension
to loadlin.
