Hi.
Not OT, I hope.
I've recently had problems reading (with Abiword) MS Word docs emailed to
me. Abiword tells me doc is "bogus". Star Office & Corel Word Perfect also
fail to read them. (Tho Caolan McNamara's word2text converts them ok.)

When I view file in vi, I see a load of junk at head of file, including
"IPM.Microsoft Mail.Note" and later "Microsoft Word for Windows 95".

This is really a pain, any tips?
