abiword's import filter *is* wv so if it works in one, it really should
work in the other, unless word2text is a script that does additional
mime extraction from a given input before passing it on. I'd be
interested in a copy of the document to confirm that its mimed or some
additional layer is around the true document, or if there is something
actually up with the document which causes SO to fail.
