the system is divided into three seperate applications.
The first applications runs on a NT box, it creates a file which is process by a
linux application.
The linux application takes the file from the first application and processes
it, producing a file to feed into the third app.
The third application processes the file from the linux application.
Currently each application is run manually, but i want to automate things, so i
want the first ("NT") application to start the second ("linux") one when it is
finished. I cannot use cron since i cannot predict when the system will be
run...
