Hi guys,
I posted this to webdev earlier, so apologies if anyone is getting the
same message twice.
Trying to log the cookie to the log file on apache. Now on my box with
apache 1.3.12 the config works with the exception of the CookieName
directive. And in the log file I get Remote address, time, file
requested, referer, and APACHE=127.0.0.1.123456789 type stuff.
CookieTracking On
#CookieName websiteID (Works on apache 1.3.14 onwards I think)
CookieExpires 31536000
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\"
\"%{User-Agent}i\" \"%{cookie}i\"" combined (Works on apache 1.3.12
but not on 1.3.19)
CustomLog /logs/wwwsite/site.access.log combined
ErrorLog /logs/wwwsite/site.error.log
However on 1.3.19 the config does not display the cookie in the log
file therefore tracking is hard. The cookie is been sent as I have
checked. And I have checked the docs this time. I also have tried
.....\"%{cookie} n %r %t\"" but to no avail.
I have enabled the required DSO's (mod_usertrack etc)
Anyone any ideas?
