Well, back in 1995, I set up a Linux box to print to a
printer on a Win95 machine. I can't remember how it was
done, but I think you rigged the printcap entry to pipe
the print data through smbclient. In fact, the smbclient
manpage refers to using smbclient -c 'print -'.
If I could do it 6 years ago, then it must certainly be
documented.
