Hmmm the 5110, I had the 4110 (as far as I can remember) and it worked fine,
however the 5110 refused point blank, so I got an afdaptor cable to avoid
using the infra red jobby, and still no joy. I called my mate who is
omnicient, and he says, the 5110 is "shite", and I never tried again.

Has any of you successfully made the above with a 5110 ? I've tried a few
different ISPs and although the phone dials, and the display seems to be
indicating that something different is going on (e.g. showing icons I never
saw before) I never actually make a connection. Any hints, advice or
suggestions gratefully received.
