first see if refection x has some setting with regards to the backspace
key. if that doesn't work, use xev to find the keycode backspace emits
(run xev, it will pop up a window, mouse over to it, press backspace and
see what it's reported as in the xterm you ran xev from). then set that
keycode to Backspace. see the xmodmap for how to do that. then you'll
want to force kde to run xmodmap with those arguments - i don't use kde so
i haven't a clue how to make that happen, but i'm sure someone here does.
