[ZDNet AnchorDesk URL:]

David Coursey, current denizen of ZDNet AnchorDesk, is paid to be, quite
simply, a professional troll. That's what AnchorDesk is all about.
AnchorDesk posts deliberately outrageous and inflammatory tripe, with
the explicit aim of riling up communities of Web users, inspiring them
all to tell their friends and get the whole lot of them to visit the
site, increasing vastly ZDNet's click-through advertising statistics,
which in turn lets them charge huge gobs of cash for their banner ads,
and makes them rich.

You have just been, not to put too fine a point on it, a cog in their machine.

The _former_ AnchorDesk troll-in-chief, Jesse Berst, was at least a bit
colourful and good at his job. This guy, by contrast, is so crude and
insulting to the intelligence of the user communities he tries to troll
that I consider him a bit embarrassing, even by ZDNet's generally very low
standards.
