If I use the "mail" command to send an e-mail. i.e. if I start an e-mail like
this: mail eugeneo at domain esatclear.ie. I can only send the e-mail as root user.
When I receive the e-mail, the return address is given as root at domain esatclear.ie
If I try to send as an ordinary user, I get the following error:
Can't create transcript file ./xff5I2Bk71739
4: Permission denied
queueup: cannot create queue temp file ./tff5I2Bk717394, uid=501: Permission
denied
Can anyone help?
