I'm going to do my best to have an ILUG version of the new Linuxcare BBC CD
(BTW the project has now forked as Linuxcare let most of the developers go)
available at the AGM on Saturday. Would anyone who's interested in getting
some at the AGM please mail me so that I know roughly how many to burn.
Please note that I can't promise to have it done in time - I'm going to try,
but it depends on what else lands in my lap this week.

P.S. For those of you unfamiliar with the project, a BBC CD is a Bootable
Business Card CD. It's a small CD with two edges cut off, so it's about the
size of a business card. The CD is bootable and it has a special small
version of Linux on it which runs entirely from the CD and RAM so it's
really useful for disaster recovery situations (or for situations like
Brendan Halpin wanting to connect his shiny new notebook to the net so that
he can save its entire ME disk in case he zaps it :-) )
Linuxcare popularised the idea last year and I ran with it, taking the
Linuxcare version and adding a few things like perl, ssh, a working wvdial,
an editor other than vi, and various other bits and pieces to produce an
ILUG version.
