Is Caldera still a viable Linux distribution?

From their webpage http://www.caldera.com/products/ I see that their latest
version of OpenLinux eServer is 2.3. This was released in Nov 1999 and has
kernel 2.2.13. This seems very out of date to me, and also that they may not
be actively developing OpenLinux any more, is this correct?

The reason I ask is that we have been offered some server machines with this
preinstalled on it. My initial reaction is to reinstall the box with Redhat
7.1.

PS... who else provides Linux these days on servers? I know DELL and Compaq
used to but is this still the case?
