Ok, I'm running a perl script which does a lot of selects, inserts, etc.
on a mysql database. Now, I'm getting the following error:
DBD::mysql::st execute failed: MySQL server has gone away at
+/path/to/file.pm line 295.
The line in question contains a very short happy little sql statment
which runs in about a second when I run it manually in mysql.
Now, I know this error can occur if you send a huge query or something
like that, but this query definitely works. Definitely. And it only
returns a tiny amount of data (one value, which happens to be 0 at the
moment).
Anyone got any ideas what might be up or how to fix it?
me.
ps. it's a cgi-script running from apache, if that makes any difference.
