Well, you don't /have/ to, but AMD don't `support' non-MP Athlons
in SMP configurations. It's rumoured that normal Athlons will work
in MP configurations, but who is going to buy a five hundred quid
motherboard and save less than a hundred quid on unofficial CPUs?
