In relation to the membership notifications. Who are the membership?
The constitution states that he membership are:
3. (3.) Membership shall be obtained by either:
i. Subscribing to the ILUG Mailing List
or
ii. Registering with the Secretary of the Society.
In relation to the meetings;
8. (7). Notice of all meetings shall given to the membership at
least
ten working days prior to the date of the meeting.
It would be reasonable to presume that a mail to the list before the
stated time limit would constitute adequate and effective
communication of the meeting. However this may not be the case for
those whom are members but are NOT on the list, but registered with
the Secretary of the Society. In this case it may be advisable that
the Secretary attempt to notify these members in a method which would
be considered reasonable.
