Folks,
I've just installed RH7.1 and need to be able to connect remotely from a
Windows machine using Exceed. Previously (with RH 6) all I had to do was
start xdm and make sure that hosts.allow was set to ALL: ALL. Not exactly
secure, but this is an internal server.

Anyway, on RH7.1 XDMCP is off by default. I'm using KDE2 and kdm and have
had no luck in being able to connect remotely. Telnet works fine but I just
can't connect at all using XDMCP never mind getting as far as a login
prompt. I've followed the little documentation there is on the web on this
to no avail. Has anyone else had any luck getting this set up?
