I prefer to have the list as an "anyone can email it" list. For what
it's worth, there are already quite a few spamblocks in place on the
list - posts with !!! or $$$ in the subject are held, as are any posts
not containing "ilug at domain linux.ie" in the To: header. In addition, lugh
is rejecting mail from servers in the RBL.
There's quite enough work involved with the list management already,
without adding an extra layer of complexity. A few procmail rules
gets rid of most spam anyway.
