if colm did that i'd do three things: i'd get the list off him myself,
unsubscribe, and then sell the list on to various irish marketing groups.
ok, i wouldn't, but what's to say someone couldn't if he was in the
habit of just mailing the subscriber list out to all and sundry.
here, what don't you be more active on this. for instance you might
suggest that members add a header to their email. we could all add
something like "X-ILUG: i have enough penpals" and then procmail your
way to happy members-only mail.
