You can get ssh to forward ports, and CVS just uses
1 port I think?
Alternatively you could try the more general approaches
of running xclients on the remote machine and have
the connection to your local xserver over ssh. There is also
a doc on the vnc site to do much the same. For a general
way to run local clients and connect to various servers
on the remote machine you could do ppp over ssh which
was mentioned on saturday also.
