Hello John me old mucker
It is not to say that an on-board card is not adequate for windoze but
there are postings in other groups that give the best solution to this
problem as
to put on a pci card (no particular brand was mentioned) and disable the
on-board.
Before I went out and splashed £20 (25.4 euros :-) on a new network card I
thought it
would be wise to put it to ILUG.
You were going to be my next port of call if the group couldn't think ofn
any thing.

By the way did you add the japanese babies as requested in the docs for
R-Dialer

My dell has an integrated 3Com® PCI 3C905B-TX Wakeup On LAN NIC, operating
at 10 or 100 Mbps
Red Hat won't find it. How do I make Redhat see this on-board piece of
garbage.
Or is the best plan to forget it and put on a decent network card??
Thanks in advance.
