Hi, I'm a recently-returned-to-Ireland linux enthusiast,
and I thought I'd take the time to be picky and try and
find a job with a minty-fresh linux flavour, while I still
have enough money left over from my previous job
to sustain myself (and computer :-) as I search.
So, does anyone have any advice/pointers ( other than
to be careful of positions which stipulate "unix" in
the requirements, then turn out to be entirely NT-based... sigh...
whats's the rationale there? Are unix people intinsically better
at NT than NT people themselves, or something? )
Is there an Ireland-specific "linux-friendly companies" list?
I've noticed a 2000-vintage archived discussion on ILUG about
the creation of some sort of an irish linux-specific jobs resource,
but did anything ever come of it?
And finally, does anyone want a copy of my C.V. ?!?
