[ILUG] RH7.1 on Laptop

Hi guys,
        Upto last week, I had Mandrake 8.0 on my laptop ( Latitude CPx ), and had no
problems with X through the docking station onto a 17" Sun monitor.
        No for the problem. I've installed RH7.1 on the laptop, with X running no
problem. Unfortunately, when I dock it, X will not work on the monitor, I'm
left in command line mode. Any ideas ??

        Is it possibly a difference in the X-server. Mandrake uses 3.6.6, whereas RH
is using 4.0.3-5.

        The error message is something along the lines of screens found, but no
useable configuration.
