Hi guys,
I just had a wee look but the car is so packed that it was hard to see the
serial numbers. Anyway, two vaxstation 4000 60's
2 Proliants - ancient, a system pro (it was only the DAT I was interested
in) and a Proliant 4000, as long as they run linux I don't care if they are
slow. We still have a Proliant 2000 and a 4000 in our minilab so they can't
be that bad. I stuck Openserver 5.06 on one and RH6.2 on the other. Works no
bother.
2 Digital Storage Expanders - they go with the vax box's I think, and
finally 2 external storage box's full of 9GB hot-plug drives. Nice 1. Must
be 180GB of hot-plug scsi - I only looked at the top drive so I'm guessing
the rest are 9GB too.
I shall give netBSD a go, thanks guys.
I would love to help develop linuxVAX, but I'm not a programmer and I have a
list of stuff a million miles long to work on first.
Good Man Kenn,
CW

What exactly did you get?

NetBSD unless you want to help us develop Linux/VAX :-)
Later,
Kenn
