here's an example macro for marking messages older then two months.
you'd want to attach it to a folder-hook somehow. exercise for the reader
(but pass it back, please).

macro index i "T~d>2m\n;s=ilug.archive"

you'll need to press return at the end (fix that by adding a \n at
the end). it's a macro to it's just what you'd type to accomplish the
same thing.

btw, there is a Pine.rc file with mutt to make it similar to mutt in
terms of keystrokes...
