Well, for an example.
I just installed a new machine on Friday, so this box should be clean.
I went into X (after getting kdm working) through my Xserver (Xmanager) and
immediately start having problems, and gnome terminal is crashing.
The messages I receive are similar to this:
Error: Application "gnome-terminal" has crashed due to a fatal error
(Floating point error)
Warning: gmc --sm-client-id <ID> No response to the save yourself command
<info about the program not responding>, [Remove program] or [Cancel]
For a fresh install this seems a bit ridiculous, and it's driving me barmy!
;-)
I'm continuing my research on gmc.
Tim
