You mean "L" by default? Don't forget the "subscribe" variable also.
Some list related stuff doesn't trigger on the "lists" keyword but rather
on "subscribe" (eg. color index brightred default "~N~l" doesn't trigger
on the "lists" keyword but does on "subscribe" ) (or is that
"subscribed"?)
