www.e-smith.org have a great option that works well. Also
www.mandrake.com have a solution called mandrake security single
network firewall. Not a lot of options, like mail server and
webserver included in that, but if you have an internal mail and web
server, then you can just set up port forwarding. The best though has
to be esmith. It installs off the CD easly, and there is not a lot
you have to do to get it up and running. Its like the easiest
firewall/server suite i have ever installed. Only reason im not
running it now is cause i killed the hard drive out of my server and
have no back up hard drive. My win2k box is now doing all the dirty
work, Mail, Web, Proxy, etc. Thats the other thing. Theres built in
Proxy, taken care of by Squid, mail server, but not shure who make
it. Its got a DNS server for speed and IMAP/POP3/SMTP is suported by
the mail server. FTP is there too for uloading stuff to the server.
Firewall can be set to allow ftp access internally, but not
externally. Its deadly! 350mb CD Image. Ill stop now. Hands getting
sore.
