i would have guessed M-x compare-files-like-diff-and-edit, or some
other extremely lengthy command. oh, and at least three files? wow,
so i can merge the work of 20 developers on a single file in a single
emacs session! well, if i ever get in that situation it's nice to know
i have another option besides shoot myself in the head...
