Hi,
My email address should be declan at nuvotem.com , but since my machine has the hostname declan, sendmail keeps specifying my email address as declan at declan.nuvotem.com
Is there some way I can get sendmail to force my sender address as nuvotem.com instead of declan.nuvotem.com, or Am I missing the point ?
Also, Today my fetchmail has been receiving tha same messages from the local mailserver (pop3) repeatedly.
I had a look in the mdaemon log files, and it seems as if it sending and deleting the mails from the server one by one, but the at the end deicdes there are 0 bytes transferred !

I've never seen the whole message source in the log file before, but all other machines are using win98 and oe5
Any suggestions .. is it something to do with the 'latency' ?
Thanks
