Video Cards:

ANy Nvidia card sgould be fine:

Ati wise - Xf86 4.1.0 has 2d support for all chipsets up to the Radeon.
3D Acceleration is available via DRI for the Rage128 and Rage128 pro
and is available in basic form for the Radeon. It hasn't been officially
released but is available via CVS I think.

I have a systems based on the KT133, KT133A, and Intel440Bx chipsets which
have no major issues to date.

The Asus A7V266 seems to be pretty good. Takes DDR only, so make sure
that's what you get. I have the older A7V, which despite some comical
spelling and grammar errors in the BIOS, is pretty rock solid now. It runs
FreeBSD fine, and I don't think Linux has any problem with the Via KT266
chipset.

Steffen
