Have you gone through the docs, specifically DIAGNOSIS.TXT? What
security level are you using? Generally, I've had most trouble using
(a) unencrypted passwords (b) anything other than domain-level security
but I've got a Win2K box here in the office happily browsing Samba 2.2
on a Solaris box.
The only thing I'm missing at this point, actually, is something on my
domain-integrated linux box that'll speak Microsoft's Dynamic DNS update
protocol. If anyone has any pointers on this I'd appreciate hearing
Waider. And no, using another DHCP/DNS combo ain't an option.
