I'm not sure would they fit the buffallo cards but with a bit of work you
could make them fit. Most wireless cards have antennas that are supplied by
someone other than the card manufacturer and are then connected on making it
easy to remove and replace them. There are a few different suppliers that we
are considering.
www.ydi.com these people seem to be "the" experts on wireless networking but
they charge to go with it. Any aerial you want they can get. They also have
some directional antennas that a client chose not to buy these are quite big
though, but at $45 a snitch, you have to email them to buy these.
http://www.soundradio.com/csh24omn.html This is link to their range of
economy high gain indoor / outdoor mounted antennas. Worth a look.
http://www.hyperlinktech.com/web/antennas_2400.html These people also seem
good
http://www.webworldwarehouse.com/wireless/rfpricing.htm More good stuff
http://www.pacwireless.com/html/antenna.htm I have heard of a few
people buying from here and finding them to be very good.
I hope this helps
let me know if you decide to buy as I'd be interested in hearing how you get
on.
Do you live near enough to Terenure to be able to link to us.
