A bit off-topic, but some of you will definitly be interested.

As you may know, Ireland offline are campaigning for affordable
broadband
in Ireland -

They are hosting a seminar:
The Net Imperative: Improving Internet Access in Ireland.

It's on 29 August 2001 from 4-7pm at the Conrad Hotel in Dublin.

Guests include: Mary O'Rourke, Minister for Public Enterprise; Etain
Doyle, Director of Telecommunications Regulation (ODTR); Derek
