Another possibility, which I'm in fact considering for the ILUG lists,
is Sympa. It looks to have a considerably nicer interface than
Mailman, with better command-line tools. It uses Mhonarc for
archives, and is written in Perl, not Python.

And it can store its backend stuff in a SQL RDB, which is *very* nice.
