That syslog entry looks to be correct ... although I'm not sure what the
syslog entries for my camera are (It's at home at the moment ...)
Any 2.4.x kernel should have support available for it (modprobe videodev ;
modprobe mod_quickcam if I recall did the trick for me)
Mandrake has support included in their 8.x distributions, so it's been a
breeze to use for the last while ...
