Yeah - the newer vim's check to see what they were called as. If it was
'vi' then they're damn well going to act like vi whether you like it or
not. Easiest thing to do is to alias vi to 'vim -N'. The -N isn't
necessary, but just makes vim less vi-like and more userfriendly.
