What I'm suggesting is that we may have sufficient motive to want to
make it practical.

On older propellor planes, such as my father used to fly (e.g.,
transatlantic flights from La Guardia via the Azores to Gatwick), there
were bunks in the cockpit area.

I'd love to ask Dad about this, but unfortunately he's been among the
metabolism-challenged, ever since Pan Am Flight 7, at Christmas, 1968.

Oh, OK: You mean we might be able to eliminate an entire category of
blockbuster bombs that can be delivered against arbitrary targets?

Cool!

You know, I choose not to believe that you just had the unbelievably bad
taste, not to mention lack of courtesy, to try to take out on _me_ your
political difference of view with the USA's Federal government --
especially hard on the heels of this grotesque tragedy. I'm
optimistically guessing that you're a better person than that,
and not the opportunistic, ambulance-chasing, crusading ideologue that
you would at first sight appear to be.

Or perhaps some lunatic ripped your keyboard from you. Perhaps that
accounts for it.
