The problem is that he also said the KDE Control Centre (which probably
queries the lspci utility) lists the modem as "HCF 56k PCI Modem
(Communication Controller)". That suggest that it uses a Connexant
(ne Rockwell) model HCF chipset. The best information I have found
thus far suggests that Linux software doesn't yet exist for the HCF,
only for Connexant's earlier HSF chipset.
