And before silvan comes back with "what's google ??????" might I suggest
that he hies himself to a bookshop, or even his local library, and get a
beginner's book - I think there's even a "Linux For Dummies" now. (Not
casting asparagus at anybody - the Dummies books, despite their unfortunate
name, are actually quite good for the absolute beginner.) Such a book will
definitely tell you how to use a man page, and will probably mention search
engines too.
