Why won't .login/.cshrc files do? All that rlogin does (straight from
the manpage) is check what port you're connecting from, then whether it
can identify your host, then whether it needs to authenticate, or
whether .rhosts is in place & allowed. Then it passes off to login for a
normal login process (with the usual environment setting & script
reading). You could maybe (but I'm not sure how) detect whether you're
coming from a remote machine in .profile/.bashrc/.tcshrc, and run a
script depending on that?

Maybe if we had a little bit more of an idea of why you're trying to do
