I'd forgotten about Top Class, I'll give that a look as well.

My first choice would be to create a home-grown, customised product
using Apache/Perl or PHP.
However, we've been asked to come up with a demo fairly quickly,
and using an off-the-shelf product cuts out the development time.
Also, existing products would be designed with less technical
content providers in mind - getting the same degree of user
friendliness with a custom made product would take a lot
more time.
I'll report back at some stage if I find out anything of interest.
