I think Linux is actually a subject in some of those UL course things now
... Con Sheehan (lecturer) was at one stage setting up (or talking about
setting up) a lab with nothing but Linux systems in it. Redhat I think, but
that was a few years ago.

Vax/Stables/fag breaks, learnt lots about Linux in all three places. Not so
much in the Fishtank though, maybe a little in the post grad labs :) It's
great when you start 'cos almost everybody knows more than you so you can
get help easily. Then you begin helping others, then servers start crashing
and things start going on fire, but that can be fun too.

sure, even managed to squeeze one into that Man Tech course I did (for
reasons best kept to myself, the course that is not the project). A voice
controlled X-Windows effort you did wasn't it Dave ?
