I used Debian *Slink* to install Sid earlier on this year - I just
booted off this old CD I got with a book, knowing apt-get would get me
what I wanted. A weekend of IRC later (quite literally), I had a working
system.
You could get Potato or similar, and a copy of my tree of .debs; I've
got about 400 megs of archives. Using this as an apt source *should*
give you what you want.
(There's probably 50 megs worth of updates per week on Sid still ;)
